On the first day of your tour, we'll start by exploring the vibrant downtown of Seoul. Our first stop will be the magnificent Gyeongbokgung Palace, which served as the central hub of the Joseon Dynasty for approximately 500 years. This historically significant landmark offers a captivating glimpse into Korea's rich cultural heritage.

You'll make your way to the Bukchon Hanok Village. Here, you'll have the opportunity to witness the preservation of 600 traditional Korean-style houses. It's a remarkable sight to behold, as these well-maintained structures offer a window into the past, allowing us to experience the architectural charm of old Korea.   In the afternoon, we'll embark on a short but rewarding hiking excursion to Naksan Park, located along the Seoul City Wall. As we ascend, we'll be treated to breathtaking views of both the city and its outskirts, providing a unique perspective on Seoul's boundaries. 

To conclude our day, we'll take a leisurely stroll along the revitalized downtown stream.                                                              After decades of being covered in concrete, the stream has been beautifully restored, reclaiming its natural charm.

Hwaseong fortress

Suwon was one of four main regional government centers during the Joseon dynasty. Hwaseong Fortress, built to protect the city, was designated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site on December 12, 1997 for its historical value.  The walls stretch for 5.7 kilometers, with Paldalsan Mountain at the center. The fortress, constructed from 1794 to 1796, was built as a display of King Jeongjo’s filial piety towards his father and to build a new pioneer city with its own economic power.    (UNESCO World Heritage)

Ceramic village, ye's park

Ceramics is a leading handicraft in Korea as well as one of the nation's cultural assets. Several places in the country still make pottery by hand using a spinning wheel, one of which is located at the domestic hub for ceramics, Icheon, Gyeonggi-do Province.
Ye's Park, Korea's biggest crafts village, is a largest craft village with facilities for the production, display and
sales of ceramics arts as well as those for artists' residence.  After experencing making pottery using a potter's wheel, you head to Sokcho, your accommodation for the day

Seoraksan National park was designated the 5th national park in Korea in 1970 and chosen as a nature preservation area on November 5, 1965, Also, internationally recognized for its rare species, Seoraksan is the area in Korea to have been designated as a Biosphere Preservation District by UNESCO in 1982, and in IUCN recognized its rich natural resources and labeled it category Ⅱ(National Park).

You start your day by taking a scenic cable car ride to the summit of Gwongeumseong Fortress, where you'll be treated to breathtaking views of Seorak-dong and the magnificent Sinheungsa Temple, renowned for its awe-inspiring giant Buddha statue. Afterward, continue your adventure to the enchanting Jujeongol Valley, where you can immerse yourself in the natural splendor of Seorak through a delightful hour-long light hike.

You will embark on a remarkable journey through the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Korea, starting with a visit to the Neo-Confucian Academy, Byeongsan Seowon . Explore the historic grounds of this prestigious institution that played a significant role in shaping Korean culture and education. Marvel at the architecture and immerse yourself in the profound wisdom of Confucian teachings.

Next, you will venture to , another UNESCO World Heritage site, Hahoe Village. This traditional Korean village preserves the architectural beauty of centuries past, offering an authentic glimpse into the traditional way of life. Stroll along the winding paths, admire the ancient houses, and experience the peaceful ambiance that permeates this extraordinary village.

Before concluding your day, you will have the opportunity to witness a mesmerizing Mask Dance performance, a captivating display of traditional Korean artistry. Skilled dancers adorned in intricately designed masks will bring to life fascinating tales and characters from Korean folklore, transporting you to a world of wonder and imagination.

Your journey begins at Seokguram Grotto, a masterpiece of Korean Buddhist art. Located in a serene mountainside setting, this remarkable grotto houses a stunning granite statue of Buddha along with intricate stone carvings. Marvel at the craftsmanship and spiritual significance of this UNESCO World Heritage site as you immerse yourself in its tranquil ambiance.

Next, you'll explore Bulguksa Temple, a grand Buddhist temple complex known for its architectural beauty and historical significance. Admire the intricate pagodas, serene courtyards, and ornate Buddhist sculptures as you wander through the temple grounds. Take a moment to appreciate the profound spirituality and cultural heritage that emanates from this revered site.

Continuing your journey, you'll visit Golgulsa Temple, known for its unique offering of Sunmudo martial arts. Witness a captivating performance showcasing the discipline, agility, and skill of Sunmudo practitioners. Be enthralled by the choreographed movements, showcasing the harmony between body and mind, as you witness this ancient martial art form.(Every Monday, Tuesday are not available)

Today, you will explore the heart of the ancient Silla Kingdom, immersing yourself in its rich history and cultural heritage.

Begin your journey by visiting the Old Tombs of the Royal Family, where the ancient rulers of Silla rest in eternal peace. These majestic tombs offer a glimpse into the royal lineage and the grandeur of the Silla Kingdom. Marvel at the intricate designs and archaeological significance of these ancient burial sites.

Next, make your way to the Palace Site and the Woljeonggyo Bridge. Explore the remnants of the palace, imagining the opulence and power that once resided within its walls. Cross the Woljeonggyo Bridge, an architectural marvel, and take in the serene surroundings that once witnessed the footsteps of Silla's noble inhabitants.

To gain a deeper understanding of the shining and amazing culture of the Silla Kingdom, visit the Gyeongju National Museum. Let the museum transport you back in time as you appreciate the brilliance of Silla's culture.

Lastly, make your way to the site of Hwangnyongsa Temple, a place that evokes a sense of awe reminiscent of Stonehenge. Although the original temple was tragically burnt down by the Mongolians, its remains continue to inspire wonder and reverence. Stand amidst the ancient stone pillars, envisioning the grandeur of the temple that once stood, and reflect on the enduring spirit of the Silla Kingdom.

Get ready to explore the historic parts of Busan, where fascinating stories and scenic beauty await.

Begin your journey at Amidong Tombstone Village and Gamcheon Village, both of which have unique histories. Amidong Tombstone Village was once a refuge camp, and it is home to Japanese tombs. 

Next, venture to Gamcheon Village, also known as the "Machu Picchu of Busan." This vibrant village was once a refuge camp as well and has transformed into a colorful and artistic neighborhood. Wind your way through narrow alleys, marvel at the vibrant murals adorning the walls, and soak in the creative energy that permeates the area.

Continuing your journey, visit the solemn and poignant UN Cemetery. This sacred site is the resting place of young soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Korean War. 

To experience the natural beauty of Busan, head to Igidae Coastal Walk. This scenic coastal trail offers breathtaking views of Gwangan Bridge, the sparkling beach, and the picturesque coastline. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the trail in the stunning vistas and the soothing sounds of the ocean.

Start your day at Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, a magnificent Buddhist temple located along the shore. Marvel at the temple's stunning architecture, perched on cliffs overlooking the vast ocean. Don't forget to make a wish at the temple's famous wishing pond, believed to bring good luck and fulfillment.

Next, head to Dongbaekseom Island, home to the APEC House. This picturesque island offers panoramic views of Haeundae Beach and the famous Gwangan Bridge. Take a leisurely stroll along the coastal trails, basking in the natural beauty of the surroundings. Visit the APEC House, a venue where world leaders once gathered, and learn about its historical significance.

Continue your exploration by visiting the Busan Cinema Center, a hub for film enthusiasts. This modern architectural marvel is home to the Busan International Film Festival, which takes place every October. Enjoy the center's unique design and explore the exhibition halls and theaters.

Conclude your day by indulging in the vibrant atmosphere of Haeundae Beach.  As the sun sets, witness the mesmerizing transformation of the surrounding area, with the dazzling lights of Gwangan Bridge illuminating the night sky.

After your enriching 2-day tour of Busan, it's time to venture to Suncheon City, known for its stunning natural attractions and cultural treasures.

Your first stop in Suncheon will be the Suncheon National Garden, a paradise for nature lovers. Explore the vast botanical garden, adorned with a diverse array of flowers, plants, and lush greenery. 

Next, make your way to Suncheon Bay Wetland, a designated Ramsar site and a haven for migratory birds. Embark on a scenic boat tour or stroll along the wooden walkways to observe the rich biodiversity of this precious wetland ecosystem. Take in the breathtaking views of vast reed fields, sparkling waters, and the distant mountains, while learning about the importance of conserving these fragile habitats.

For your itinerary, you will start your day by taking a morning flight to Jeju Island. Upon arrival, your first destination will be Seongsan Ilchulbong, also known as Sunrise Peak. This awe-inspiring volcanic cone offers a mesmerizing view of the surrounding sea. Afterward, you will proceed to visit the Manjanggul Cave, a fascinating tunnel formed by ancient lava flows. Explore the underground marvels within the cave. As you make your way to your hotel, you can make a quick stop at a traditional open market, where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant local culture and find a variety of goods and delicacies to discover.

If you love Korean food, you don’t want to miss eating your way through On the final day of your tour, you will embark on a delightful nature walk along the Olle Trail Course No. 6. The route goes along coast and through downtown starting from Soesokkak-dari(bridge) and passing through Seogwipo City. Past Lee, Jung-seop Street, the route continues to Jeju Olle Tourist Center. Hike past a salt hut and Seogwipo City where culture and life are embedded, you may experience the city's unique culture and ecology.   After your refreshing walk, you can explore the vibrant Olle Market, where you'll find a variety of local produce, handicrafts, and delectable street food to indulge in.
