Alpensia Ski Resort has six slopes for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy. Runs as long as 1.4km provide a dynamic experience for both beginners and experienced skiers and snowboarders. Daegwallyeong Hanul Ranch
Daegwallyeong Hanul Ranch deep is deep in the highlands of Korea’s Taebaeksan Mountains. It’s an exotic landscape of rolling, treeless hills of grazing land, so very unlike anywhere else in Korea. Currently, about 400 Holstein cows are breeded along with a hundred of hanu (Korean Cow) and many sheep in an environmentally friendly way. The ranch boasts itself in producing first-class 1,400 tons of crude oil per year as well as top quality hanu.
No cars are allowed in the ranch as a result, but visitors can move around on foot or by tractor. Children will be allowed to run around on the grass with the sheep, with no part of the greenery off limits.
Gangneung Coffee Street
Nearby Anmok Beach in Gangneung, is a street lined with a variety of unique coffee shops. In its beginning, the now aptly named Anmok Beach Coffee Street had only a few coffee machines, but starting about five years ago, coffee shops began to open up one after another, and now there are over 20 coffee shops. Apart from famous coffee shops, there are also individual shops where coffee is roasted and dripped, offering a wider variety of coffees. Just across the street is a white sandy beach and the beautiful blue sea, making for a great place to take in the surrounding natural beauty over a delicious cup of coffee.
