Daegwallyeong Hanul Ranch deep is deep in the highlands of Korea’s Taebaeksan Mountains. It’s an exotic landscape of rolling, treeless hills of grazing land, so very unlike anywhere else in Korea. Currently, about 400 Holstein cows are breeded along with a hundred of hanu (Korean Cow) and many sheep in an environmentally friendly way. The ranch boasts itself in producing first-class 1,400 tons of crude oil per year as well as top quality hanu.

No cars are allowed in the ranch as a result, but visitors can move around on foot or by tractor. Children will be allowed to run around on the grass with the sheep, with no part of the greenery off limits.
